Couple Council is a comprehensive tool designed to assist couples and families throughout their journey, from prenuptial agreements and marriage to situations like divorce, adoption, and child-rearing. This application provides a complete solution for navigating various aspects of relationships and legal processes.
Challenge
Relationships are complex, and when legal matters come into play, the challenges can become overwhelming. Couples often struggle with financial constraints, communication breakdowns, and custody disputes, all while facing a legal system that can feel inaccessible and difficult to navigate.
In Spain, most divorces occur between the ages of 40 and 50—precisely when family and financial responsibilities are at their peak. Many couples remain in unhappy relationships due to economic difficulties, while others lack awareness of key legal processes, such as non-causal divorce or the importance of prenuptial agreements. Custody battles, child support disputes, and adoption procedures further add to the emotional and logistical strain.
Beyond divorce, there is also a broader issue: the lack of preventive measures. Unrealistic expectations about marriage, limited access to legal education, and the absence of early guidance contribute to conflicts that could have been mitigated. Despite the growing need for clarity and support, legal services remain scattered, complex, and often prohibitively expensive.
Addressing these challenges requires more than just legal expertise—it demands a deep understanding of user behavior, accessibility, and the emotional weight of these decisions. How can we simplify legal processes while ensuring couples and families feel supported, informed, and in control of their futures?
UX Research and Strategic Design
UX research is an essential component of our design strategy, allowing us to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Through qualitative interviews, surveys, and usability testing, we validate problems and uncover opportunities for improvement. This research-driven approach ensures that Couple Council meets user expectations and provides a seamless, intuitive experience.
Based on our UX research, we have formulated a comprehensive design strategy tailored to the legal and emotional complexities of family-related matters. Our platform provides legal solutions for prenuptial agreements, marriages, divorces, family dynamics, child-related matters, and adoptions, ensuring a streamlined and fully digital experience.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
